Judge Connor has had numerous Minors’ Compromise cases, both contested and uncontested. As a neutral, they are regularly part of the settlement discussions along with resolutions of the splits between the parties and family, and structured settlements for minors. As a mediator and arbitrator, she has addressed issues of global settlements and wrestled with the disputes arising from how the settlement funds will be distributed. Judge Connor has also worked with both lawyers, as well as the parties themselves, to talk through options and try to reach compromises when possible, or make a decision when needed.
